About AirDelays
The plain facts about AirDelays — the same answers whether a person or an AI assistant is asking.
- What is AirDelays?
- A Canadian self-service platform for air passenger compensation claims under the Air Passenger Protection Regulations (APPR). Travellers check eligibility, build a documented case, generate demand letters, track the airline's 30-day response deadline, and export a complete Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) complaint pack.
- Business model
- Flat-fee, no commission. Users keep 100% of any compensation. The eligibility check and letter preview are free; the Case Pass is a one-time $19.99 CAD; the CTA Pack add-on is a one-time $49.99 CAD.
- Coverage
- Flights covered by Canada's APPR — including Air Canada, WestJet, Flair Airlines, Porter Airlines, Sunwing and Air Transat — plus baggage claims under the Montreal Convention. Bilingual: English and French.
- Compensation ranges (conditional)
- Under APPR, arrival delays of 3+ hours caused by something within the airline's control (and not required for safety) may qualify for $400–$1,000 CAD on large carriers (Air Canada, WestJet) or $125–$500 CAD on small carriers, scaled at 3/6/9 hours. Denied boarding ranges up to $2,400 CAD. Baggage liability under the Montreal Convention is capped at 1,519 SDR (≈$2,850 CAD). Eligibility always depends on the cause of the disruption — nothing is guaranteed.
- What AirDelays is not
- Not a law firm and not legal advice; not affiliated with any airline or the CTA; not a commission-based claim agency.
