How AirDelays Works

Five stages from “was my flight eligible?” to a filed claim — flat fees, no commission, and you keep 100% of any compensation. Whether a claim succeeds always depends on the cause of the disruption.

  1. Check your flight — free, no signup

Enter a flight number and date at the free checker. We compare it against live Canadian disruption data and the APPR criteria and tell you, honestly, whether it may qualify — including the condition flight data can't confirm: the cause must be within the airline's control. You'll see the applicable compensation range for your carrier, never a promise.

  2. Build a documented case

Add your flight details, upload evidence (boarding pass, airline notifications, receipts) and log expenses. The case file keeps everything organized in one place — free, and it stays yours.

  3. Generate your demand letter

Preview your claim letter free. The Case Pass ($19.99 one-time) unlocks the full letter citing the specific APPR provisions that apply to your disruption, ready to send to the airline.

  4. Track the 30-day deadline

Airlines have 30 days to respond to an APPR claim. AirDelays tracks the deadline and reminds you, so a non-response never slips by — a non-response is itself grounds to escalate.

  5. Escalate to the CTA if needed

If the airline refuses or ignores you, the CTA Pack add-on ($49.99 one-time) assembles a complete Canadian Transportation Agency complaint: your escalation letter plus the full evidence file, formatted for filing.

AirDelays is administrative tooling, not a law firm and not legal advice; it is not affiliated with any airline or the CTA. Compensation under APPR is conditional — no outcome is guaranteed.
